In this class you will explore the adventure of plein air painting!

Participants in this class will meet at the Middletown Arts Center. Our instructor will go over best practices and his favorite supplies for painting in the landscape. After a brief gathering at the MAC, students will meet at the local workshop location (to be determined).

Once on location, Nate will offer insights based on his own experience plein air painting. What makes a good scene to capture? Are there specific items that spark interest in the work? How do you capture the scene and translate that onto your work?

Our instructor will provide a short demo, and then invite students to dive into their own creative projects. As they are painting, Nate will offer individual guidance and feedback on each student's work.

Access to bathrooms is dependent upon final location.

This course is for ALL LEVELS,
