Originating in Japan, Kokedama is a bonsai variant wrapping plants roots in moss and twine. Each attendee will receive a 4-inch plant and craft their own 6-inch kokedama ball, combining natural elements and traditional techniques.  This hands-on experience is perfect for plant lovers of all skill levels who want to create a unique and beautiful living décor piece to take home.

About the Instructor:

Samantha (Sam) Watts is the founder of the Split Leaf Co., a plant boutique offering both ready-to-display natural works of art and offering instruction in the care of plants and the creation of unique nature-inspired works. The Split Leaf Co. was founded in 2020 after Watts left the military and discovered the calming and peaceful effect of plants! Since then, she's had a passion for plants and sharing her knowledge and the transformative effects plants can have with others.
