WORKSHOP  WITH DAVID MUELLER

Sophisticated Fundamentals - all traditional mediums
    About The Workshop:

“ I like to create renderings that capture the essence of simple, yet profound, aesthetics.  The current focus of my work is primarily figurative paintings, many including some kind of decorative element. I strive to create “timeless” images. My  style is aimed at finding a happy medium between classical realism and impressionism. I also love to plein air paint to try to capture the essence of natural landscape.”

Pastel Landscape Workshop With Doug Dawson Master Pastelist, P.S.A.
      About The Workshop:

My teaching style is to give demos whenever possible.  In a typical demo, I do a lot of talking.  I explain what my thinking is with each problem.  When I am not demonstrating I go around from student to student.  I ask what they would like help with.  I share my observations.  I tend to be very extemporaneous.  I believe that a person should leave a workshop overwhelmed by the amount of new information and skills they have been exposed to; yet this should be done in an atmosphere which allows people to relax and enjoy the experience.”
